The anti-aging effects Epitalon are scientifically proven by numerous scientific studies for many years.
More than 100 studies have been published in English on Epitalon . Even more if we add other languages, including Russian, where Epitalon is studied since the 1970s .
In the early 1970s, the Institute of Gerontology of St Petersburg, Russia, including Professor Khavinson, began to study the immunosuppressive mechanism of the body, both experimentally and clinically. They found that with age there was a deterioration of the functioning of the central organs of the immune system, the thymus(a), and the neuroendocrine system, the pineal gland (b).
To restore the function of the pineal gland they have isolated and refined a small peptide that mimics its actions, which the synthesis is Epitalon, which does not have to use animals as a source [5,6].
Isolated from the epiphysis or pineal gland, this peptide (the Epithalamine then replaced by Epitalon) was studied in different biological models. This peptide has contributed to a significant increase in the duration of animal life in many experiments [5,6,7,8,9,10].
This significant increase in the life of animals was obviously caused by an anti-tumor activity of this peptide isolated from the pineal gland [7,8,10,11,12].
A particularly significant effect was the restoration of function of the reproductive system in older female rats subjected to treatment with the peptide from pineal gland. Equivalent to menopause in women animal, the estrus stage, at 95% fell down to 52% after administration of the preparation. A special experiment was made with female rats that did not become pregnant after mating, but after administration of the peptide from pineal gland and several other couplings, 4 of the 16 female rats fell pregnant, giving birth to 5-9 babies each .
Such results of studies have demonstrated the potential use of this peptide as a protector against aging, gerontology protective [13,14,15].
The antimutagenic and reliable remedial activities of the pineal peptide was confirmed by a reduction in the number of errors of chromosome replication of bone marrow cells and corneal epithelium in animals suffering from accelerated aging .
Concerning the regulation of gene activity, it was established that the administration of Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly peptide (Epitalon) in transgenic mice resulted in a reduction by 2 to 3.6 times of the expression HER2/neu (human breast cancer) gene. This decrease is accompanied by a consistent reduction in the diameter of the tumor .
It has been shown that the addition of Epitalon tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) in a culture of human lung fibroblasts induced gene expression of telomerase and the length of telomeres was multiplied by 2.4. The activation of gene expression is accompanied by an increased number of cell divisions (42.5%), which is evidence of exceeding the Hayflick limit (c) [18,19].
The first results of scientific studies on the Epitalon / Epithalamine were published in 1979. But the clinical study that has completely revolutionized the science of human ageing was published in 2002 by the Institute of Gerontology and Professor Khavinson, because it showed a very significant reduction in the mortality of participants, up to 4 times less for those who took Epitalon! 
It lasted seven years and concerned 266 scientists over the age of 60, who took the peptide during the first 3 years, except for a specific group that took it for 6 years (see below), showing that Epitalon has an huge impact on the long term too.
The results proved that we can regulate and standardize the basic functions of the body through such a bio regulator. Significant improvements were recorded on the cardiovascular, endocrine, immune and nervous systems, and homeostasis and metabolism of the organism as a whole.
For example they recorded 2 to 2.5 times fewer respiratory illnesses, fewer heart problems, less hypertension, less arteriosclerosis and less osteoporosis, which spawned a far less mortality during the period of this study , compared to the group that did not take Epitalon.
There were almost two times fewer deaths in the group taking the Epitalon and 2.5 times less in the group taking the Epitalon and at the same time Vilon (thymus peptides).
Another group took Epitalon and Vilon every year for 6 years, and mortality was four times less elevated compared to the untreated group!
This proves without doubt that the results are better with a regular intake instead of a single course. This makes sense when you know that Epitalon generates longer telomeres and allows the cells to reproduce much longer.
Each course or dose of Epitalon gives you the ability to regenerate cells to repair the entire body.
# Professor DePinho found the same results in mice when he reactivated the production of telomerase in their cells.
“These mice were equivalent to age 80 years in human, and were about to die,” said Ronald DePinho, co-author of the study and researcher at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. After the experiment, “they were back to the physiological equivalent of young adults.”
The experiment focused on telomerase, an enzyme that makes the units of DNA that seal the ends of chromosomes, called telomeres.
As people age, their low levels of telomerase are associated with telomere erosion. Dr. DePinho and his colleagues wanted to see whether reactivating telomerase in mice could slow down, reverse telomere shortening.
A month later, the treated mice showed surprising signs of rejuvenation. Overall, their telomeres were elongated and had increased levels of telomerase. This has awakened the dormant brain stem cells, which have begun to produce new neurons. Spleen, testes and brain grew in size .
